Residents of Viewmount Estate on the Dunmore Road gathered to plant a native hedgerow in their estate. They were greatly supported by B Corridor members and Waterford Trees for Life.

70 Irish hedgerow trees were planted and pruned to encourage sidegrowth. They were covered with a biomembrane to suppress grass growth and then mulched on top with wood chips. We look forward to seeing this hedgerow go from strength to strength in the coming years.

Thank you

To everyone who turned up with a spade and a smile: thank you.
